DeKALB, Texas—Dorris Jane Butler, 56, of Cumby, Texas, died Sunday, May 4, 2008, in a Tyler, Texas, hospital.

Mrs. Butler was born Dec. 5, 1951, in Naples, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Zion Church, Naples.

Survivors include her husband, Mike Butler of Cumby; one daughter and son-in-law, Anna and Donnie Wise of DeKalb; one son and daughter-in-law; three brothers, Mark Hazelwood of Houston, Curtis Lynn Hazelwood of Simms, Texas, and Danny Hazelwood; two sisters, Janice Kay McGunisse of Texarkana and Alethea Stewart; one stepgranddaughter, April Wise of DeKalb; two grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be noon Saturday at Sand Hill Cemetery with Roy Dittmar and Charles Hillis officiating. Burial will be under direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home.
