James Arthur Field, 94, of Texarkana, Texas, died Saturday, May 10, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Fields was born July 27, 1913, in Naples, Texas. He was a retired bus driver for TISD, a member of Rosehill COGIC and a World War II veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Jessie M. Fields of Texarkana; three sons, Leroy Sewell of Texarkana, Lee Charles Fields of Dallas and Willie James “Bill” Fields of Denver, Colo.; two daughters, Ruthie M. Dunn of Texarkana and Ida M.
