HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Jewell Graham Morrow, 81, of Ore City, Texas, died Wednesday, May 14, 2008, in a Tyler, Texas, nursing home.

Mrs. Morrow was born Feb. 23, 1927. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter James “P.J.” Morrow; and three children, P.J. Morrow Jr., Milton Morrow and Barbara Morrow.

Survivors include one daughter, Sandra Morrow of Ore City; three sons, Harold Morrow of Ore City, Kenneth Morrow of Houston and Warren Morrow of Kaufman, Texas; one stepdaughter, Nevada Holt of Longview, Texas; three sisters, Bessie Duncan of Daly City, Calif., and Dorothy Jones and Oretha Nash of Dallas; one granddaughter, Dominique Morrow of Ore City; one special friend, Johnnie Rockwell of Ore City; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Murray League Baptist Church, Ore City, with the Rev. Calvin Nash officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.

The body may be viewed today at the funeral home.
