Mary Carmen Odell, 60, of Maud, Texas, died Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at her home.

Dr. Odell was born Aug. 7, 1947, in Bordeaux, France. She was a retired pediatrician, an associate professor of pediatrics with University of Oklahoma Teaching Hospital and a Catholic.

Survivors include her husband, Stanley Odell of Maud; her mother, Christina Moreno Perez of Venezuela; and one sister, Dr. Ana Perez Cova of Venezuela.

No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.
