Myrtle Elsie Walker, 90, of Genoa, Ark., died Wednesday, May 14, 2008.

Mrs. Walker was born Jan. 8, 1918, in Wood County, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Midway. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubra Walker.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Curtis Griffin of Texarkana and Judy and James Cook of Genoa, Ark.; one son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Pam Walker of Texarkana; one brother, Calvin Arnold of Texarkana; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 3 p.m. today at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Kelsey Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery under direction of East Funeral Home, Moores Lane.

Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. today at the church.

Relatives will be at 710 Vanderbilt Road, Texarkana, Ark.
