DeKALB, Texas—Thomas Junior “T.J.” Tucker, 72, of DeKalb died Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Tucker was born Aug. 15, 1935, in Nevada, Texas. He was a printer and a member of Eustace Masonic Lodge No. 1199, Texas Scottish Rite, Hella Temple and Hubbard Missionary Baptist Church, DeKalb. He was preceded in death by two sons, Don Jestis and Mark Tucker.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Tucker of DeKalb; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Adeline Wakins and Euna Faye Turner of Royce City, Texas, and Olga Mae and Travis Love of Tulsa, Okla.; one brother and sister-in-law, James Wesley and Leta Tucker of Bowie County, Texas; two special friends, David and Shirley Barron; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Hubbard Missionary Baptist Church with Rick Gandy officiating. Burial with Masonic Rites will be 4 p.m. Saturday at Payne Springs Cemetery, Mabank, Texas.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
