PRESCOTT, Ark.—James B. “J.B.” Callicott, 83, of Prescott died Thursday, May 15, 2008, in a Texarkana hospital.

Mr. Callicott was born May 25, 1924, in Nevada County, Ark. He was an auto mechanic, a Mason, a member of First Assembly of God Church, Prescott, and a World War II Air Force veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Dickerson Callicott of Prescott; one son and daughter-in-law, James Larry and Sherry Callicott of El Dorado, Ark.; one daughter and son-in-law, Teri and Mike Hughes of Prescott; one sister, Doris Needham of Prescott; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren, Casey Callicott and Emily Callicott.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home with the Revs. Jerry Hightower and Neal Ridling officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
