HOPE, Ark.—Rodney Lavaughn Pree, 44, of Hope died Sunday, May 11, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Pree was born Nov. 28, 1963, in Texarkana, Texas. He was formerly employed with Temple Inland, a member of Haynes Chapel Baptist Church and an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by one son, Marcus Pree.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Beth Pree; two daughters, Rodneshia Pree and Chasmine Alexander; one son, Tesuansey Link; his mother, Texann Pree; one brother, Sylvester Pree Jr.; three sisters, Dorothy Martin, Loraine Jones and Ruby Morbley; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Providence Full Gospel Missionary Baptist Church, Hope, with the Rev. Frankie Mitchell and Johnie L. Jones officiating. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens under direction of Hicks Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
