Victor Eugene Brown Jr., 63, of Texarkana, Ark., died Saturday, May 17, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Brown was born Jan. 27, 1945, in Texarkana. He was retired from Red River Army Depot, a member of Millwood Fishing Club, Circle J Cowboy Church, the Air Force Reserve and a Navy veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Brown; two sons, Vic Brown III and Mike Jones; two daughters, Tammy Matthews and Brandy Simmons; two stepsons, Duane Miner and Dean Miner; two stepdaughters, Terry Jones and Donna Windler; his mother and stepfather, Maxine and Buck Jones; two sisters, Helen Jacobs and Gale Ballard; 21 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Circle J Cowboy Church with the Rev. Todd Hervey officiating. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Ark.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
