ELLA WILLIAMS

DAINGERFIELD, Texas—Ella O. Williams, 79, of Lone Star, Texas, died Saturday, May 17, 2008, in Lone Star.

Mrs. Williams was born March 3, 1929, in Jenkins, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of South Union Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Debbie Abernathy.

Survivors include her husband, Charles A. Williams of Lone Star; three sons, Barry Neil Williams of Rosharon, Texas, Mickey Don Williams of Daingerfield and Matthew Scott Abernathy of Fouke, Ark.; three daughters, Liz Pedigo of Hughes Springs, Texas, Heather Chantelle Conner of Daingerfield and Crystal Dawn Blakely of Lone Star; two brothers, Paul Phillips of Mertzon, Texas, and Bill Phillips of Marshall, Texas; 16 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at South Union Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. Chad Thompson and Maurice McMillan officiating. Burial will be in Clark Cemetery under direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
