AGNES EDWARDS

STAMPS, Ark.—Agnes “Nell” M. Edwards, 83, of Lewisville, Ark., died Tuesday, May 20, 2008, in a Texarkana, Ark., nursing home.

Mrs. Edwards was born May 14, 1925, in Waldo, Ark. She was a retired nurse. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Edwards.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Cindy Edwards of Lewisville and Charles and Cathy Edwards of Waldo; three daughters, Sherry Roy of Houston, Martha Byerly of Palestine, Texas, and Nancy Edwards of Hooks, Texas; two sisters, Janet Cheatham and Freddie Young; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Columbia Cemetery, Waldo, with the Rev. Jerry Garrett officiating. Burial will be under direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
