ETHEL SPEARS

NASHVILLE, Ark.—Ethel Lorie Copeland Spears, 76, of Highland, Ark., died Tuesday, May 20, 2008, in a Texarkana hospital.

Mrs. Spears was born March 25, 1932, in Nashville. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cloid N. Spears.

Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Tannie L. Spears of Highland and Robin and Debbie Spears of Etna Green, Ind.; one daughter, Terriffa Huffman of Huntington, Ind.; four sisters, Ila Chambers of Barling, Ark., Betty Johnson of Ben Lomond, Ark., Norma Schroeder of Kenner, La., and Elizabeth Teague of Bossier City, La.; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under direction of Latimer Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
