FRANCIS ADAMS

NAPLES, Texas—Francis Marion “Pete” Adams, 91, of Cedar Hill, Texas, died Tuesday, May 20, 2008, in Dallas.

Mr. Adams was born Sept. 17, 1916, in Commerce, Texas. He was a retired school superintendent, a former member and deacon of First Baptist Church, Omaha, Texas, a member of First Baptist Church, Lancaster, Texas, and a Navy veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Christine Boozer Adams of Cedar Hill; one son and daughter-in-law, James Marion and Teresa Adams of Mesquite, Texas; three sisters; three brothers; two grandchildren and spouses, Lindsey and Kevin Boyd of Midlothian, Texas, and Ross and Stephanie Adams of Waco, Texas; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at Harrison Funeral Home with the Rev. Dwaine Higgins officiating. Burial will be in Omaha Cemetery.
