GRADY MILLS

Grady M. Mills, 92, of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday, May 19, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Mills was born Sept. 26, 1915, in Needs Creek, Ark. He was retired from Federal Compress and Warehouse Co., a former minor league baseball player, a Boy Scout leader, Ashdown, Ark., and a former member of Administrative Board of the Ashdown FUMC, Masonic Lodge and Ashdown Rotary Club, and a member of Wadley Auxiliary and Arkansas First United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Love Mills; and one daughter.

Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Sara Margaret and Herman Barnett of Texarkana and Charlotte Mills Fant of Conway, Ark.; two grandchildren and spouses, Greg and Leigh Barnett of Dallas and Lori and Craig Mueller of Texarkana; three great-grandchildren, Bentleigh Barnett of Dallas and Luke Mueller and Grady Mueller of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m. today at First United Methodist Church, Arkansas. Burial will be 3 p.m. in Needs Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Greenbrier, Ark., under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.
