ETHEL McDADE

HOPE, Ark.—Ethel M. Rowe Garrett McDade, 95, of Hope died Thursday, May 22, 2008, in a local nursing home.

Mrs. McDade was born June 3, 1912, in Clark county, Ark. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Owen “Jim” Minus Garrett and Clyde McDade.

Survivors include four nieces, Lana Thompson Munn, Mary Ann Thompson Scott, Nelda Thompson Doyle and Carolyn Thompson Davidson; four nephews, Sam A. Rowe, Ralph W. Rowe, Kenneth Rowe and Autry A. Thompson Jr.; and one great-nephew, Joe Thomas Goad.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Nubbin Hill Cemetery, Prescott, Ark., with the Rev. Westmoreland officiating. Burial will be under direction of Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. today at the home of Lana Thompson Munn.
