DE QUEEN, Ark.—Virginia Irene “Jenny” Miller, 83, of Nashville, Ark., died Friday, May 23, 2008, in a Nashville hospital.

Mrs. Miller was born Nov. 19, 1924, in De Queen. She was retired from First National Bank, a homemaker and a member of Geneva Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Gene Miller, in 1997; and one daughter, Linda Carrol Christie

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Margie Christie of Nashville; one granddaughter, Melissa Honeycutt of Shreveport, La.; one grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Matt and Brittany Christie of Nashville; two great-granddaughters, Landry Taylor and Brylee Honeycutt; one great-grandson, Lane Christie; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Ida Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Bright officiating. Burial will be under direction of Chandler Funeral Home.
