JESSIE COLLUM

Jessie Clyde Collum, 49, of Texarkana, Ark., died Friday, May 23, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Collum was born Feb. 21, 1959, in Texarkana, Texas. He was an employee of Manufacture Sales, a former Sunday school teacher, a member of Mandeville Baptist Church and a Navy veteran.

Survivors include his mother, Hester Collum of Smithville, Texas; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Rebecca and C.J. Smith and Sue Henderson of Smithville; four grandchildren, Christian, Sierra, Zakkary and Kaylee of Texarkana; his fiancée, Cynthia Force of Texarkana; one special friend, Doug Cherry of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Allen Peebles officiating. Burial will be under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Relatives will be at the family home, Texarkana, Ark.
