DE QUEEN, Ark.—John William Miller, 79, of De Queen died Thursday, May 22, 2008, in a local nursing home.

Mr. Miller was born Sept. 8, 1928, in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. He was an employee of Schmidt Construction and a member of Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Harter Miller of De Queen, two sons and one daughter-in-law, Joseph Miller of Mount Pleasant and Terry and Lisa Miller of Lonoke, Okla.; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Jean Evans of Mount Pleasant, Sherry Evans of Burlington, Iowa, Cindy and Donnie Bivins of Haworth, ...
