RUSSELL WINTON

DE QUEEN, Ark.—Russell Oakley Winton, 86, of De Queen died Friday, May 23, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Winton was born Dec. 31, 1921, in Kerrick, Minn. He was retired from the Arkansas Highway Department, a locksmith and a member of Beacon Hill Seventh-Day Adventist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Winton, in 2006.

Survivors include two daughters, Cathie Barrington and Dianne Campbell of De Queen; four grandchildren and one spouse, Shelly and Timmy Boyles of De Queen and Anita Barrington, Chad Barrington and Erica Barrington; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Beacon Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Carlton officiating. Burial will be under direction of Chandler Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
