EMMIE ROACH

NAPLES, Texas—Emmie Pauline Roach, 69, of Quitman, Texas, died Friday, May 23, 2008, at her home.

Mrs. Roach was born July 10, 1938, in Hooks, Texas. She was a retired childcare employee and a Pentecostal. She was preceded in death by two sons, Steven Roach and Rex Roach.

Survivors include her husband, Clifton A. Roach of Quitman; two sons, Dewayne Roach of Greenville, Texas, and Clifton Earl Roach of Simms, Texas; one daughter, Connie Garcia of Hooks; three brothers, Willie Lewis Chisum of Wrightritet, Texas, Leslie Sherman Chisum of Bullard, Texas, and Ellis Mack Chisum of Bonham, Texas; five sisters, Virginia Hooks of Sherman, Texas, Shirley Frachiseur and Barbara Orval Frachiseur of Grannis, Ark., Melinda Taylor of Simms and Geraldine Britton of Hooks; nine grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Harrison Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sandhill Cemetery, Simms.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
