FRANK STERLE

Frank J. Sterle, 82, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, May 23, 2008, in a local hospital.

Dr. Sterle was born April 20, 1926, in Memphis, Tenn. He was partner in Sylvester-Sterle Construction Co. in Port Arthur, Texas, a retired optometrist, a tutor for the Literacy Council, past board member of Opportunities Inc., prison ministry, and Longview St. Vincent DePaul, a member of Noon Optimist Club, Knights of Columbus and East Texas Bishop Guild and a Eucharist minister, lector and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
