TONY BASHAM

NEW BOSTON, Texas—Tony Joe Basham, 70, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, May 23, 2008, in a Fort Worth, Texas hospice.

Mr. Basham was born Oct. 3, 1937, in Bassett, Texas. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 684, Dalby Springs, Texas, and an Air Force veteran.

Survivors include three daughters and one son-in-law, Robin Faulknor of Texarkana, Kay Basham of Irving, Texas, and Lisha and Joe Luna of Corpus Christi, Texas; one sister, Alma Carrington of Hooks, Texas; and two grandchildren, Ricky Faulknor of Texarkana and Joey Luna of Destin, Fla.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. today at Sand Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Chris Hooten officiating. Burial will be under direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home.
