Barry Lynn Lamay, 49, of Texarkana, Ark., died Thursday, May 22, 2008, in a Shreveport, La., hospital.

Mr. Lamay was born Jan. 28, 1959, in Texarkana. He was a Vietnam War veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Sonya Lamay of Texarkana; one daughter, DeAmber Lamay of Texarkana; his mother, Lavada Lamay of Texarkana; two brothers, Joseph Lamay of Fort Worth, Texas, and Ruben Lamay of Texarkana; seven sisters, Barbara Taylor of Amarillo, Texas, Doris Harper, Sharon Hill, Janice Marbut, Debra Lamay Houff and Elder Cynthia Solomon of Texarkana and Audrey Green of Wake Village, Texas; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Bibleway Christian Assembly with Enis Scott officiating. Burial will be in Fair Haven Cemetery under direction of Lyles Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
