Florene Burris, 84, of Ogden, Ark., died Monday, May 26, 2008, at her home.

Mrs. Burris was born Sept. 11, 1923, in Ogden. She was a production worker and cook with MC’s Cafe and Lone Star and a member of New Canaan Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Givens Burris of Ogden; four sons, Chester Burris, Roy Burris and Rocky Burris of Ogden and Bobby Burris of Texarkana; six daughters, Willie Green, Shirley Burris, Mary Greene and Cynthia William of Ogden, Verlyn Gulley of Fayetteville, Ark., and Rhonda Burris of Texarkana; two brothers, James Thurston of Vallej...
