STAMPS, Ark.—Jessie Lee Tatum, 84, of Stamps died Friday, May 23, 2008, at his home.

Ms. Tatum was born Sept. 26, 1923, in Stamps. She was a former employee of Stamps High School and a member of Greenville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one son, Grady Tatum; and two daughters, Gloriadean Tatum and Linda Kay Long.

Survivors include nine children, the Rev. Danny R. Reynolds of Newnan, Ga., Jimmy Tatum Jr., the Rev. Sylvester Tatum, Gracie Tatum, Marie Dedner, Gwendolyn L. Richards and Brenda Kay Long of Stamps, Vera Mae Jones of Toledo, Ohio, and Rosie Edwards of Texarkana; one sister, Mammie Lee Boyd of Sarepta, La.; one brother, Odell Brown of Houston; 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Greenville Baptist Church with the Rev. Sylvester Tatum officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery under direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
