ATLANTA, Texas—Lucille Martin, 65, of Queen City, Texas, died Wednesday, May 21, 2008, in a Texarkana hospital.

Mrs. Martin was born March 17, 1943, in Queen City. She was a homemaker and a member of Springdale COGIC.

Survivors include her husband, John L. Martin; four sons, Edward L. Martin, Johnny R. Martin, Will Martin and Fedric L. Martin; three daughters, Sharel D. Dyer, Dorothy A. Martin and Rachel Martin; two sisters, Ammie Gardner and Daisy Gamble; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Golden Gate Baptist Church, Domino, Texas, with the Rev. E.J. Victor officiating. Burial will be in Lanark Cemetery under direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home.

Viewing will be noon to 6 p.m. with visitation 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
