LINDEN, Texas—Mable Peoples Pauley, 94, of Atlanta, Texas, died Saturday, May 24, 2008, in an Atlanta hospital.

Mrs. Pauley was born Feb. 29, 1914, in Linden. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Thelonus Webster of Atlanta; two sons, Richard Baker and Leonard Baker of Atlanta; 19 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. David Kenner and Elder B.C. James Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery under direction of Linden Funeral Home.

Viewing will be noon to 4 p.m. and visitation 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
