Rae C. Boone, 65, of Texarkana, Ark., died Tuesday, May 27, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Boone was born Oct. 29, 1942, in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. She was a homemaker and a member of Cathedral Heights Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Boone.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Brett and Mary Boone of Texarkana; two daughters and one son-in-law, Carla and Michael Hume of Vivian, La., and Tina Boone of Katy, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Andy Roberts of Nekoosa, Wis.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at East Funeral Home, Downtown, with the Rev. Roy Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
