Catherine Marie Walters, 79, of Nash, Texas, died Thursday, May 29, 2008, at her home.

Mrs. Walters was born June 21, 1928, in Toledo, Ohio. She was owner of Kates Resale Shope and a member of First Assembly of God, Texas.

Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Susan and Rod Rhoden of Flower Mound, Texas, Lynn and Mike Murrah of Texarkana and Peggy Walters of Allen, Texas; one sister-in-law, Marion Jane Taylor; four grandchildren, Wendy Jenkinson, Brian Rhoden, Dana Oglesby and Laura Oglesby; four great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at First Assembly of God with the Rev. Hal Haltom officiating under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Relatives will beat 6103 Shady Side Lane, Texarkana, Texas.
