Jeanne Helen Leavery Bills, 88, of Texarkana, Ark., died Monday, June 2, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Bills was born Jan. 10, 1920, in Fairport, N.Y. She was a homemaker, a nurse and a member of Unity Church, Vero Beach, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband, Welton Burtis Bills.

Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Deborah Cook of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Susan and Arthur DeSimone of North Fort Myers, Fla., and Dorian and Arnold Hodge of Texarkana; one sister and brother-in-law, Suzanne and Robert Gray of Boston; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard and Anne Bills of Asheboro, N.C.; and a number of other relatives.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.
