HOPE, Ark.—Ronnie Witherspoon, 52, of Columbus, Ark., died Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Witherspoon was born Aug. 5, 1955, in Columbus. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Columbus, and an Army veteran.

Survivors include three brothers, James Witherspoon of Columbus, Larry Trotter of Mineral Springs, Ark., and Bruce Witherspoon of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Macedonia Baptist Church. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery under direction of Hicks Funeral Home.
