NEW BOSTON, Texas—William Dale Veale, 67, of New Boston died Thursday, June 5, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Veale was born Feb. 28, 1941, in Ranger, Texas. He was employed with Meals on Wheels, retired from construction and a member of First Baptist Church, New Boston.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Veale of New Boston; one daughter, Annette Veale of New Boston; his stepmother, Mary Veale of Bethany, Okla.; one brother and sister-in-law, James and Sue Veale of Granbury, Texas; two grandchildren, Cole Derrick and Katelyn Derrick of New Boston; two nephews, Jon Veale of Ennis, Texas, or Brian Veale of Austin; and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home with the Rev. Ken Cox officiating.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
