HOPE, Ark.—Minnie Pearl Powell Muldrew, 58, of Hope died Tuesday, June 10, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Muldrew was born July 22, 1949, in Hope. She was a member and usher at Mount Pleasant CME Church.

Survivors include her husband, Earl Muldrew; two sons, Craig Powell of Hope and Steve Powell of Toledo, Ohio; two stepdaughters, Kelly Muldrew of Hope and Wendy Muldrew of Little Rock; three sisters, Alice Straughter of Hope, Jane Austin of Toledo, and Bertha Wilson of St. Louis.

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Lonoke Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. Alvin Hunter and James Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Two Mile Branch Cemetery under direction of Hicks Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
