NAPLES, Texas—Ozell Lorane Allen, 92, of DeKalb, Texas, died Thursday, June 12, 2008, at her home.

Mrs. Allen was born July 13, 1915, in New Boston, Texas. She was a retired production operator at Lone Star Army Ammunition Plant and member of Plantation Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie L. Allen; one son, Richard Allen; one daughter, Wilma Christine Walker; one grandson, Raymond Walker; and three great-grandchildren.

Survivors include three sons, Eldon Allen, Jimmie Allen and Jerry Allen of DeKalb; two daughters, Mary Haley of Hooks, Texas, and Melba Grider of New Boston; three sisters, Myrtle Tolison and Mattie Jo Waltmon of DeKalb, and Avis Rawls of New Boston; 27 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; 25 great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Plantation Baptist Church with the Rev. James Boyd Strain officiating. Burial will be in Woodstock Cemetery under direction of Harrison Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the church.
