NEW BOSTON, Texas—Agnes Clark Raney, 89, of DeKalb, Texas, died Friday, June 13, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Raney was born Dec. 5, 1918, in Old Boston, Texas. She was a homemaker, former manager of “The Stand” by DeKalb High School and a Methodist. She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Clark; and one son, Jerry Dale Clark.

Survivors include one daughter, Shirley Clark of Bowie County, Texas; two sons, Perry Clark of New Boston and Mike Clark of Centerville, Texas; four grandchildren, Jerry Dale Clark Jr. of DeKalb, Jamie and Payton Clark of New Boston and Amy Clark of Naples, Texas; five great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Hoefner officiating. Burial will be in Woodmen Cemetery, DeKalb.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
