LINDEN, Texas—Melba Dene Cochran, 77, of Carthage, Texas, died Friday, June 6, 2008, in Dallas, Ga.

Mrs. Cochran was born Aug. 4, 1930, in Houston. She was a registered nurse and a nurse anesthetist.

Survivors include two sons, John Banger of Dallas, Ga., and Dr. Kent Scott Cochran of Dallas, Texas; one grandson, David Banger Cochran of Vineland, N.J.; and one aunt, Dorothy Martin of Longview, Texas.
