STAMPS, Ark.—Maggie Lee Paxton, 94, of Texarkana, Ark., died Wednesday, June 11, 2008, in a Texarkana nursing home.

Ms. Paxton was born June 22, 1913, in Lost Prairie, Ark. She was a former member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church and a member of College Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Missions and a deaconess. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Paxton.

Survivors include two daughters, Bertha Mosley of Los Angeles and Leola Key of Texarkana; two sons, David Paxton of Midwest City, Okla., and Lorenzo Paxton of Texarkana; 22 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 29 great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednes-day at College Hill Baptist Church, Texarkana with the Rev. Clifton Murray officiating. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens under direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Wake services will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the church.
