SAMMIE HARRISON
NAPLES, Texas—Sammie Lou Harrison, 99, of Naples died Saturday, June 14, 2008, in a New Boston, Texas, nursing home.
Mrs. Harrison was born May 1, 1909, in Bryans Mill, Texas. She was a retired ammunition worker from Lone Star Army Ammunition Plant and a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommie Harrison; and two daughters, Clara Bell Harrison and Bobbie Day. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, J.W. “Sonny” and Jeanette Harrison and Tommie Ray and Nathalie Harrison of Naples; one daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Bobby Owen of New Boston; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Harrison Funeral Home with the Revs. Ken Cox and Barry Brown officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bryans Mill.
