JEFFERSON, Texas—Callie Hubbard, 95, of Marshall, Texas, died Tuesday, June 17, 2008, in Marshall.

Mrs. Hubbard was born Sept. 30, 1912, in Marion County, Texas. She was retired from Los Angeles School District and a member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband and three children.

Survivors include four sons, George King of Fort Worth, Texas, Langston Coleman of Yoland, Calif., Millard Coleman of Compton, Calif., and Donald Coleman of Marshall; one brother, Rodgers Garmon of Inglewood, Calif.; one sister, Gracie Elane Johnson of Dallas; one sister-in-law, Ethel Graham of Oakland, Calif.; one special granddaughter, Sherry L. Randy of Marshall; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. M.K. Washington officiating. Burial will be in New Zion Cemetery under direction of Lewis & Walker Funeral Home.

The body may be viewed today at the funeral home.
