JEFFERSON, Texas—Joan Blair Love, 66, of Lodi, Texas, died Wednesday, June 11, 2008.

Mrs. Love was born March 17, 1942, in Levelland, Texas. She was retired and a member of Ebenezer CME Church, Lodi

Survivors include her husband, Sammie Love; four daughters, Vivica Collins of Marshall, Texas, Theal Gaston of Marietta, Texas, and SheKita Martin and Tonya Love of Kildare, Texas; one brother, Paul Blair of West Covina, Calif.; one sister, Phyllis Milton of Newport News, Va.; one special friend, Ometha Smith; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Nelson-Murphy Auditorium, Linden, Texas, with the Rev. Shelia Willis officiating. Burial will be in Whitaker Cemetery under direction of Lewis & Walker Funeral Home.

The body may be viewed 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with visitation 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the church.
