STAMPS, Ark.—Elvira “Mary” Fain, 82, of Stamps died Sunday, June 29, 2008, at her home.

Mrs. Fain was born Feb. 24, 1926, in Midway community, Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Fain.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Darrel and Susan Fain of Prescott, Ark.; one brother, Lon Cox Jr. of Dallas; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Frances and Clyde Shipp Sr. and Doretta and Edwin Forsythe of Texarkana; three grandchildren, Darren Fain, David Fain and Eddie Fain; one great-grandson; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Shiloh Cemetery with the Rev. John Force officiating. Burial will be under direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
