DE QUEEN, Ark.—Jefferson Doyle “Jeff” Hamilton, 63, of De Queen died Saturday, June 28, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Hamilton was born Aug. 13, 1944, in Odessa, Texas. He was a welder, a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church and a Vietnam War Navy veteran.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Michael Wayne and Lettia Hamilton of Sandersonville, Ga.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Christa Lee and Bud Presley of De Queen and Amber Hamilton of Little Rock; two brothers, Sheldon Mark Hamilton of Odessa and Johnnie Mac Hamilton of Oregon; two sisters, Janice Jones of Los Lunas, N.M., and JoAnn Shafer of Westville, Okla.; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Chapel Hill Cemetery with Keith Smith officiating. Burial will be under direction of Chandler Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
