MENA, Ark.—Maggie Lawrence, 96, of Mena died Wednesday, June 25, 2008, in Mena.

Mrs. Lawrence was born Nov. 15, 1911, in Polk County, Ark. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lake Lawrence.

Survivors include three children and two spouses, Billy Don and LaRue Lawrence of Mena, Marilake Gibson of Texarkana and Rex and Ann Lawrence of Glenwood, Ark.; two sisters, Hazel Goodman and Monnie Scott of Roswell, Ga.; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Mills of Baileyton, Ala., and Gladys Brown of Mena; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services were Saturday at Beasley-Wood Funeral Home with Don Jones officiating. Burial was in Pine Ridge Cemetery.
