NASHVILLE, Ark.—William Rufus Haywood, 85, of Nashville died Sunday, June 29, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Haywood was born Aug. 19, 1922, in Nashville. He was retired from Aero Metal Craft, a Baptist and an Army veteran.

Survivors include one nephew, Dale Dixon of Nashville.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. today at Unity Cemetery with David Cassady officiating. Burial will be under direction of Latimer Funeral Home.
