MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas—Jimmie Mae Stanback, 92, of Mount Pleasant died Saturday, June 28, 2008, in Mount Pleasant.

Mrs. Stanback was born July 14, 1915, in Naples, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Gilmore Baptist Church, Mount Pleasant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morgie Stanback.

Survivors include two cousins, Ocia Williams of Omaha, Texas, and Pearlie Lee Adams of Bettie, Texas; three sisters-in-law, Grace Jones and Vera Stanback of Mount Pleasant and Geraldine Stanback of Dallas; and a number of other relatives.

Services were Tuesday at Mount Gilmore Baptist Church with the Rev. C.J. Shelton officiating. Burial was in Piney Cemetery under direction of Tumey Mortuary.
