STAMPS, Ark.—Arthur Johnson III, 23, of Buckner, Ark., died Friday, June 27, 2008, in a Texarkana hospital.

Mr. Johnson was born Oct. 8, 1984, in Newport, Ark. He was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church, Buckner.

Survivors include three children, Ariana Larry and Adian Johnson of Texarkana and Alyssa Smith of Hope, Ark.; his parents, Arthur Johnson Jr. of Buckner and Laverne Glover of Stamps; four brothers, George Worth of Magnolia, Ark., Cedric Alcorn of Newport, Ark., and Jadairus Irvin and Dewayne Irvin of Texarkana; and six sisters, Demetrius Simmon of McNeil, Ark., Christina Worth of Shreveport, La., Keyona Williams of Bradley, Ark., Monique Alcorn of Newport, Amber Alcorn of Jonesboro, Ark., and D’Jemila Stinson of Texarkana.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Lafayette County School Auditorium with the Rev. John Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Buckner Community Cemetery under direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the auditorium.
