JEFFERSON, Texas—Gloria J. Martin Caesar, 72, of Jefferson died Tuesday, June 24, 2008, in Port Arthur, Texas.

Mrs. Caesar was born Sept. 15, 1935, in Lodi, Texas. She was a member of Ebenezer CME Church, Lodi. She was preceded in death by one son and one granddaughter.

Survivors include three daughters, Cathy Jackson of Atlanta, Ga., Karen Spelling of Jefferson and Linda K. Kimble of Port Arthur; three sons, Emmett R. Spelling and Leon Spelling of Fort Worth, Texas, and Terry Spelling of Atlanta, Texas; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Ebenezer CME Church with Shelia Timberlake officiating. Burial will be in Whitaker Cemetery under direction of Lewis & Walker Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
