DORIS PEEK

CLARKSVILLE, Texas—Doris Peek, 75, of Boxelder, Texas, died Friday, July 4, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Peek was born Sept. 5, 1932, in Red River County. She was retired from Prudential Insurance Co. and a member of Salem Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Tom Peek of Boxelder; one son, Blane Peek of Boxelder; one daughter, Belinda Presswood of Garland, Texas; one sister, Sarah Peek of Boxelder; two brothers, Doug Moore of Huntsville, Ala., and Harry Moore of Clarksville; one great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Clarksville Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray McGregor officiating. Burial will be in Boxelder Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
