ATLANTA, Texas—Doris E. Smith, 71, of Atlanta died Thursday, July 3, 2008, in Atlanta.

Mrs. Smith was born Dec. 12, 1936, in Fouke, Ark. She was a homemaker and a Pentecostal. She was preceded in death by one son, Kenny Smith.

Survivors include one son, James Smith of Texarkana; five daughters, Kathy Whatley of Atlanta, Elaine Daves of Calera, Okla., and Mabel Phillips, Peggy Sonato and Betty Griffin of Texarkana; two brothers, Henry Jones of Coffeyville, Kan., and Dennis Dean of Texarkana; 12 sisters, Shirley Turner, Lavern Adams and Sheila Murr...
