HALLIE ROBERTS

Hallie A. Roberts, 95, of Mount Pleasant, Texas, died Saturday, July 5, 2008, in a Mount Pleasant hospital.

Mrs. Roberts was born July 16, 1912, in Naples, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Myrtle Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester M. Roberts.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Lonzo and Jo Delle Roberts of Dallas and Therman and Barbara Roberts of Tyler, Texas; one daughter, Iva Lee Ambercrombie of New Boston, Texas; one sister, Willie Lee McKelvey of Mount Pleasant; one brother-in-law, Ray Vestal of Hughes Springs, Texas; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at Chapelwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Hardaway officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
